Description

Simply Strawberry, Basil & Cucumber Cooler is a strawberry cooler concentrate lifted with basil and cucumber for cafés, bars and canteens that want a cold drink on the menu without stocking bottles or cans. Dilute one part syrup to nine parts water over ice — still water for a classic serve, sparkling for a spritz.

Yield and cost per serve

The standard serve is 30ml of syrup in a 300ml drink, so a 250ml bottle makes around 8 drinks. Divide the bottle price by 8 for the syrup cost in each glass — water, ice and a cup are the only other inputs. The 250ml bottle suits a menu trial or a low-volume site — move up to the 1L bottle once the flavour has earned its place.

How to serve

  • Still: 30ml syrup and 270ml cold water over ice, stirred.
  • Sparkling: 30ml syrup over ice, topped with 270ml sparkling water and stirred gently.
