Every coffee on this store is roasted after you order it — not pulled from a shelf. Here's why that matters to a business buyer.
Freshness is a supply-chain decision
Roasted coffee is a fresh product with a finite window of peak flavour. Coffee that sits in a warehouse spends that window in a box; coffee roasted to order spends it in your grinder. When your order arrives from our Guildford roastery, its full usable life is still ahead of it — which for a café pouring through a 6kg case, or an office working through a 1kg bag, is the difference between consistent cups all month and a flat final week.
What happens when you order
Your order joins the next roast schedule at our Surrey roastery, where each origin and blend is roasted in small batches to its own profile — the same controlled profiles every time, which is how multi-site operators like Olive Dining keep two dozen sites tasting identical. Once roasted, coffee is packed and dispatched at peak freshness, typically arriving within 1–2 working days of dispatch on the UK mainland.
A note for espresso operators
Very fresh coffee needs a short rest before it pours at its best — espresso typically settles within days of the roast as CO₂ degasses. Because your delivery arrives just-roasted, you control that rest window instead of guessing how long a bag sat in distribution. Dial in as it settles and it will hold stable for weeks.
