Buying for trade — quick answers

Is there a minimum order?

No. Order single units or by the case — singles sit at retail parity and the trade saving unlocks at case level. Coffee, syrups, tea, sundries and equipment can all travel in one order on one delivery.

What if our order is over £5,000?

Orders above £5,000 inc VAT are quoted by the trade team rather than checked out online, so specification, delivery and terms can be agreed first. Use the trade enquiry form or call 01483 808580.

Can we open a trade account with payment terms?

Yes. Register for a trade account and, once approved, qualifying businesses can be set up with account terms. Until then, everything on this site can be bought straight through checkout by card.

Buying in volume?

Pallet coffee, machine fit-outs and orders above £5,000 are quoted directly — usually within one working day.

Organic speciality coffee at trade prices for conferences, exhibitions, awards dinners and venue catering, roasted to order at our Guildford roastery and delivered to the venue. Every coffee on this page is certified organic, so the sustainability line on your signage and in your post-event report is one you can document.

Who buys event coffee from Redber

Conference organisers who need arrival coffee and two breaks for several hundred delegates. Exhibition stands that want a barista bar to draw visitors. Venue and contract caterers who run their own machines and buy beans by the case. Agencies putting on launches and award nights who want one supplier for the coffee, the equipment and the staff.

Three ways to serve it

  • Coffee by the case for your own caterer or venue team: beans or ground, in 1kg bags, 6kg and 12kg cases, bought online up to £5,000.
  • A barista-run bar: our baristas bring the machine, grinder, milk and cups and serve for the day. Quoted on headcount and running hours.
  • A machine of your own for venues that host every week: bean-to-cup and bulk-brew machines bought outright, with prices under £5,000 checking out online.

Sizing an event order

One kilogram of beans makes roughly 55 double-shot drinks on espresso or bean-to-cup equipment, or about 65 cups of batch-brewed filter. A 300-delegate day with arrival coffee and two breaks typically needs 12–15kg. Cases arrive within five working days; a barista bar needs two to three weeks' notice so staff and equipment can be confirmed for your date.

Sourcing you can report on

We buy through importers audited under organic, Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade schemes, and directly from farms in Colombia, Brazil, Burundi, Uganda and Malawi under our own direct-trade agreements. Ask the trade team for the certificate behind any coffee you serve.

For events above £5,000, multi-day programmes or anything involving staff and equipment, send a trade enquiry or call 01483 808580. Buying coffee for home? The same organic origins are sold in small bags on the Redber retail store.
