Installation, training and servicing

Installation & commissioning can be added to your order — tick the box above and we confirm the cost before anything is booked. We position the machine, connect it to the water and power already at the counter, commission it and dial it in on your beans. Plumbing and electrical work must be in place beforehand. Ask us about on-site barista training when you order.

Servicing, maintenance and repair are available UK-wide through our corporate team, from one-off call-outs to full service agreements.

Leasing

Lease from £23.23 p/w* as an alternative to buying outright. Agreements are arranged by our corporate team — how trade leasing works.

*Illustrative, based on weekly payments over a five-year agreement (other terms on request). A transfer-of-ownership fee applies at the end of the agreement (approx. £200 + VAT). Quotes vary with circumstances. Finance is arranged with a third-party provider authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority; three years' trading history or a homeowner guarantor is usually required.

Delivery and returns

For orders placed on www.redber-wholesale.co.uk

This page explains how we roast, dispatch and deliver your order, what to do if something arrives damaged, and when we accept returns. It forms part of our Trade Terms & Conditions. Our Refund Policy sets out how refunds are handled.

Roasting and dispatch

All Redber coffee is roasted to order for maximum freshness, and each bag is labelled with your order number. We aim to roast and dispatch orders on the same day they are placed.

We roast six days a week, Monday to Saturday, and dispatch Monday to Friday. We aim to process all orders by 16:00; during particularly busy periods, please allow an additional working day in case of a roasting backlog. Next-day delivery cannot be guaranteed, as all coffee is roasted to order.

Delivery charges

Orders of £40 and over

  • Standard Tracked Delivery (2–5 working days) — Free
  • Express Tracked Delivery (1–2 working days) — £3.00

Orders under £40

  • Standard Tracked Delivery (2–5 working days) — £3.95
  • Express Tracked Delivery (1–2 working days) — £4.45

Delivery exceptions

  • Free delivery applies to UK mainland addresses only.
  • Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands (0.01 kg – 5 kg) — £5.00
  • Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands (5.01 kg – 30 kg) — £15.00
  • We do not deliver to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses.

All delivery charges include VAT.

For orders over 100 kg, please contact us for a quotation. If an order is unusually large or heavy, additional delivery charges may apply; where this is the case we will contact you to confirm the cost before dispatch.

Collection

Orders can be collected from Unit 2, Merrow Depot Industrial Park, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ, Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30, once you have received a "ready for collection" email. Please bring your order number.

Equipment deliveries and installation

Commercial machines are delivered on a pallet to the kerbside unless installation has been arranged. Please make sure the site can accept a pallet delivery and that there is a clear route to the installation point. Where installation is included or purchased, we will agree a date with you; the site must have a suitable power supply, water supply and drainage in place before that date. We do not carry out plumbing or electrical work.

Tracking your order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking details. We work with Amazon Shipping, Royal Mail, DPD and DHL; depending on the service used, tracking updates may come by email and, in some cases, by SMS. Please allow a short time after dispatch for tracking to become active. If you have not received your tracking email, please check your junk or spam folder before contacting us.

Damaged or incorrect orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt at contact@redber-wholesale.co.uk, quoting your order number and including photographs of the damaged goods. We will offer a replacement or a refund where appropriate.

Please inspect your goods before signing for them. If this is not possible, sign as "unexamined", and report any visible damage to the driver at the time of delivery.

Returns — business customers

This section applies to all purchases made by businesses, sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, or any buyer purchasing in the course of a trade or business.

No statutory right to cancel. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 do not apply to business-to-business sales. Business customers do not have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period, or any equivalent right to cancel because they have changed their mind.

Redber does not accept returns from business customers unless a return has been expressly agreed in writing by Redber before the goods are returned.

In addition, we will not accept any return where:

  • the packaging has been opened, broken or tampered with in any way
  • the goods have been used, prepared, brewed or consumed to any extent
  • the goods are perishable or have a short shelf life (which applies to all roasted coffee)
  • the goods were roasted, blended or ground to a custom specification for that order

These conditions apply whatever the reason for the return request, except where the goods are confirmed to be faulty or not as described (see below).

Faulty or misdescribed goods

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes Redber's obligations under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. If goods supplied to a business customer are of unsatisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or materially not as described, the business customer keeps the right to reject the goods and obtain a refund, or to request a repair or replacement.

Any such claim must be notified to us in writing within a reasonable time of delivery, with photographs of the defect, and we reserve the right to inspect the goods before agreeing a remedy. Equipment faults are handled under the manufacturer's commercial warranty in the first instance; contact us and we will arrange it.

Returns — consumer customers

This section applies to purchases made by individuals acting as consumers, not in the course of a business.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned unused, in perfect condition and in their original, unopened packaging. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Please allow up to 14 working days for the return and refund to be processed.

The right to cancel does not apply to goods that are perishable or have a short shelf life, customised or personalised items, items sealed for hygiene reasons that have been unsealed after delivery, or services that have already been completed. As our coffee is roasted to order and prepared for your chosen brew method, some products may not be eligible for cancellation. This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty or not as described.

How to request a return

Contact us in writing at contact@redber-wholesale.co.uk or call 01483 808580 before returning any goods, quoting your order number. Goods returned without prior written authorisation will not be accepted and may be returned to sender at the customer's expense.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used. We aim to process all refunds promptly and efficiently.

What goes in this machine

One coffee to start with, added to your basket from here — roasted to order at our Guildford roastery and reordered from the same trade account as the machine. The full ranges are below.

Match the coffee to the machine. Espresso and bean-to-cup machines take whole beans; filter and bulk-brew machines take filter-ground coffee; instant-ingredient machines take freeze-dried or powdered ingredients only — never beans, ground coffee or liquid milk.

Description

Iberital Referent ECO Alto – 2 Group Commercial Espresso Machine

The Iberital Referent ECO Alto combines traditional espresso preparation with practical barista controls and reduced energy consumption. Designed for cafés, bars, restaurants and hotels, this two-group machine features a single-boiler system and a smart black finish.

Its Alto tall-cup configuration provides extra clearance for larger cups, making it a practical choice for businesses serving both sit-in and takeaway coffee.

Why Choose the Iberital Referent ECO Alto?

Lower energy use between busy periods

The ECO model uses up to 31% less energy in idle mode than the standard Referent. This helps reduce electricity consumption during quieter periods, while programmable automatic on/off settings let you plan operation around your opening hours.

Control over your coffee

PID temperature control and an intuitive LCD display help baristas manage brewing settings. Adjust temperature and dosage, monitor extraction time and refine your setup to suit your coffee.

Comfortable milk preparation

Cool-touch steam wands and quick-turn controls support a smoother workflow when preparing milk for cappuccinos, flat whites and lattes.

Practical design for everyday service

A large stainless steel lower tray provides a durable working area, while accessible components help simplify maintenance and servicing.

Frequently asked questions

Can we buy this machine online at trade price?

Yes. The price shown is our trade price, ex VAT with the inc-VAT figure alongside. Orders up to £5,000 inc VAT check out online by card; above that our equipment team completes the order with you directly — send an enquiry or call 01483 808580.

Do we get a VAT invoice?

Yes. Every order is invoiced with VAT itemised, sent to the email on your account as soon as the order is placed. Prices on this site are shown ex VAT with the inc-VAT figure alongside.

Does this machine need plumbing in?

Check the Water supply line under At a glance. Tank-fed machines fill at the sink and run from a standard 13-amp socket, so they go anywhere. Plumbed-in machines need a mains water supply and, usually, a drain at the counter — if you are not sure what you have, tell us about the site and we will confirm before you order.

Can you install it and train our staff?

For espresso and bean-to-cup machines you can add installation and set-up when you order — tick the box above the Add to basket button and we will call to book it. Barista training is available for espresso machines. Filter, instant-ingredient machines and grinders arrive ready to plug in; the servicing page covers ongoing support.

What warranty does it come with?

The manufacturer's commercial warranty is included — the term is shown under At a glance and in the specification. If anything goes wrong, contact our equipment team on 01483 808580 and we will arrange support with a UK engineer.

Can we lease instead of buying outright?

Yes. This site sells machines outright; lease and rental agreements, multi-site estates and servicing contracts are arranged by our corporate team. Open the Leasing panel above for the indicative weekly figure where available, or send an enquiry and we will set it up.

Which coffee should we use in it?

The What goes in this machine section above recommends one coffee to start with and links to the full ranges. All our coffee is roasted to order at our Guildford roastery, and you reorder it — with cleaning products and spares — from the same trade account as the machine.
