HeyCafé Buddy Coffee Grinder
The HeyCafé Buddy is a compact, on-demand espresso grinder designed for cafés, restaurants, and hospitality venues looking for reliable performance in a space-efficient footprint. Built by HeyCafé (part of the Hemro Group), the Buddy combines consistent grind quality with intuitive operation — making it an ideal choice for low to medium-volume commercial environments.
Engineered for precision and durability, the Buddy delivers accurate, repeatable dosing with stepless grind adjustment, allowing baristas to dial in espresso with fine-tuned control. Its compact design makes it especially suitable for smaller coffee bars, secondary grinding stations, mobile setups, or venues with limited counter space.
Consistent Espresso Grinding, Every Shot
The HeyCafé Buddy features flat burrs designed to produce uniform particle distribution, supporting balanced extraction and improved flavour clarity. Its powerful motor ensures stable grinding performance throughout service, while the direct grind-to-portafilter workflow keeps operation efficient and clean.
Whether used in a boutique café or as a secondary grinder for decaf or single origins, the Buddy provides dependable espresso grinding without unnecessary complexity.
Designed for Practical, Everyday Use
With a simple interface and easy grind adjustment, the Buddy allows baristas to make quick adjustments during service. The solid construction ensures durability in commercial environments, while its compact body keeps your workspace organised and uncluttered.

Frequently asked questions
Can we buy this machine online?
Machines priced under £5,000 can be bought straight through checkout. Above that we quote, because the specification, siting and installation need agreeing before the machine is ordered.
Do you install the machine?
Yes. Installation and commissioning can be added to your order on espresso and bean to cup machines. We position the machine, connect it to the water and power already at the installation point, commission it, dial it in on your coffee and walk your team through daily cleaning. We do not carry out plumbing or electrical work.
What needs to be ready before installation?
A suitable water supply and power at the machine's final position, plus clear access on the day. If either needs new work, your own plumber or electrician handles that beforehand.
Can you train our staff?
Yes. Barista training can be added to your order on espresso machines, run on site on your own machine and your own coffee, covering extraction and dialling in, milk technique, workflow and daily cleaning.
Can we lease rather than buy?
Yes. Lease pricing is shown on machines where it applies, and the agreement itself is arranged by our corporate team.
Who services the machine afterwards?
Servicing and maintenance agreements are handled by our corporate team, who look after machine estates across multi-site accounts.
