Description

Rwanda Inzovu Green Coffee Beans are celebrated for their bright and fruity flavour profile, offering a well-balanced cup with vibrant acidity and a clean finish. Sourced from the fertile Nyakabuye region, these beans are perfect for home roasters who enjoy unique and distinctive African coffees.

Rwanda Inzovu Origin and Details

  • Country: Rwanda
  • Region: Nyakabuye
  • Altitude: 1,600 - 1,700 meters above sea level
  • Variety: Bourbon and Typica
  • Processing Method: Fully washed

Processing Method and Quality Control

The Rwanda Inzovu beans undergo a full wash process, which helps to bring out their bright and clean flavour characteristics. The high-altitude conditions and rich volcanic soil of the Nyakabuye region contribute to the beans' quality, resulting in a coffee that is both complex and refined.

Potential Flavour Notes and Characteristics

When roasted, these beans develop a flavour profile featuring citrus, apple, and vanilla notes with a fruity aroma. The coffee offers a medium body with bright acidity, providing a refreshing and lively cup that is both smooth and balanced.

Benefits of Home Coffee Roasting

Roasting Rwanda Inzovu green beans at home allows you to highlight their unique flavour profiles. Lighter roasts will bring out the beans' bright acidity and fruity notes, while medium-dark roasts will develop deeper, richer flavours and a more robust body.

Important Disclaimer

These are green, unroasted coffee beans and are not suitable for direct grinding or coffee-making. They must be roasted first before they can be brewed and enjoyed as coffee.

Excellent beans

Bought a kilo of the RWANDA INZOVU - Green Coffee Beans. Roasted medium dark and brewed with both flair for espresso and aeropress. Delightful flavour in both cases. One of the best green bean experience I've had. Still getting used to roasting so maybe getting better results as I do more but the coffee I'm making now with these beans from Rwanda about as good as any coffee I've bought from high street baristas.

Delicious coffee, distinctive red fruit flavour. Works best pre-warming the roaster well

Prompt despatch and deliver

Excellent website. Easy to order and quick delivery. I have not yet roasted this Rwandan coffe but the Indian Malabar Coffee is excellent when used as adark roast. I grew up drinking this coffee in India and the aroma brought back memories of my childhood where every locality had a small artisan roastery in Bangalore.

Review of recent purchase

Simple and easy. As my coffee roasting business grows I’m looking to work with a green bean supplier that knows what they are doing and provide quality goods. I will continue to buy from Redber

Rwanda inzovu

This coffee has been a huge hit with our customers and we have lots of regulars for both the roasted beans and ground coffee. We only ever roast to a light/medium roast but if people say they like an Italian roast this is the one we recommend and it keeps people coming back so we'll definitely be ordering more!!!
