Elevate Your Self-Service Coffee Experience with the Rhea Luce zero.touch

The Rhea Luce zero.touch is a premium freestanding vending machine designed for businesses that want a more interactive, modern coffee experience. With its 22-inch LCD touchscreen, broad drink customisation, and high-capacity configuration, it is well suited to high-footfall environments such as offices, retail locations, service stations, and public spaces.

Built to combine strong visual impact with flexible performance, the Luce zero.touch is available in multiple configurations, including V+, espresso, and instant versions. The V+ model includes Varitherm, Rhea’s patented induction heating system, which adjusts water temperature according to the selected recipe and can reduce energy consumption compared with traditional boiler systems.

Why Choose the Rhea Luce zero.touch for Your Business?

Interactive User Experience

The standout feature of the Luce zero.touch is its 22-inch touchscreen interface, giving users a highly visual and intuitive drink-selection experience. It supports up to 64 selections, helping operators present a broad and engaging drinks menu.

High-Capacity Beverage Flexibility

The machine supports up to 9 canisters, 1–2 coffee grinders, and 4 mixing bowls, allowing businesses to offer a wide range of coffee and specialty drinks from one unit. The espresso version supports both whole bean coffee and powdered ingredients, while the instant version is designed for powdered drink recipes.

Advanced Brewing and Heating Technology

In the V+ version, Varitherm automatically adjusts the brewing temperature to suit each recipe, including drinks with multiple ingredients. Rhea also highlights this system as a key contributor to energy efficiency versus conventional heating methods. The wider Luce zero range also promotes adaptable brewing performance through its configurable platform.

Energy Efficiency

Rhea positions the Luce zero platform as an energy-saving solution, with the brochure stating up to 85% energy savings in idle mode when using the induction-based Varitherm system compared with conventional double-boiler configurations.

Customisable to Your Operation

Optional features include a cup sensor, lid dispenser, tea brewer, and varigrind. This gives operators flexibility to adapt the machine for different locations, usage levels, and customer preferences.

Frequently asked questions

Can we buy this machine online?

Machines priced under £5,000 can be bought straight through checkout. Above that we quote, because the specification, siting and installation need agreeing before the machine is ordered.

Do you install the machine?

Yes. Installation and commissioning can be added to your order on espresso and bean to cup machines. We position the machine, connect it to the water and power already at the installation point, commission it, dial it in on your coffee and walk your team through daily cleaning. We do not carry out plumbing or electrical work.

What needs to be ready before installation?

A suitable water supply and power at the machine's final position, plus clear access on the day. If either needs new work, your own plumber or electrician handles that beforehand.

Can you train our staff?

Yes. Barista training can be added to your order on espresso machines, run on site on your own machine and your own coffee, covering extraction and dialling in, milk technique, workflow and daily cleaning.

Can we lease rather than buy?

Yes. Lease pricing is shown on machines where it applies, and the agreement itself is arranged by our corporate team.

Who services the machine afterwards?

Servicing and maintenance agreements are handled by our corporate team, who look after machine estates across multi-site accounts.
