Description

Kenya Peaberry Green Coffee Beans are celebrated for their vibrant acidity and complex flavour profile. Known for their unique shape and intense flavours, these beans provide an exceptional cup with bright citrus notes, floral undertones, and a clean finish. Perfect for home roasters seeking a lively and well-rounded coffee experience.

Kenya Peaberry Origin and Details

  • Country: Kenya
  • Region: Tatu
  • Altitude: 1,700 - 1,800 meters above sea level
  • Variety: Peaberry
  • Processing Method: Washed

Processing Method and Quality Control

Kenya Peaberry beans are meticulously hand-picked and washed, a process that enhances their bright and clean flavour profile. The unique Peaberry beans, which form as a single rounded bean instead of the usual two, are known for their concentrated flavours and higher acidity. The careful processing methods help retain the beans' natural characteristics, delivering a high-quality cup every time.

Potential Flavour Notes and Characteristics

When roasted, these green beans develop a lively flavour profile with citrus fruit and light floral notes, accompanied by a fine body and medium to high acidity. The distinct aroma features lemony hints, making it an excellent choice for those who enjoy a bright and vibrant coffee.

Benefits of Home Coffee Roasting

Roasting Kenya Peaberry green beans at home allows you to bring out their unique characteristics. A light roast will highlight the beans' floral and citrus notes, while a medium roast will balance the acidity and body, providing a smooth yet lively cup.

Important Disclaimer

These are green, unroasted coffee beans and are not suitable for direct grinding or coffee-making. They must be roasted first before they can be brewed and enjoyed as coffee.

My first try with Peaberry and the result is amazing. Gorgeous deep flavours with a P60, but espresso turned out equally impressive.

Coffee is fine, response to Emails and phone is terrible

Weeell, it was okay but the first order offer of a coffee sample wasn't included. A couple of Emails and a phone conversation hasn't achieved anything, so with no customer service its gone to 2*
