Description
Description
Iberital Referent – Traditional Commercial Espresso Machine
The Iberital Referent is a powerful, traditional multi-group espresso machine built for cafés, restaurants, hotels, and high-volume hospitality environments. Designed with reliability and performance at its core, the Referent delivers consistent extraction, strong steam power, and dependable temperature stability throughout busy service periods.
Available in 2 Group and 3 Group configurations, with Standard or Tall cup clearance options, the Referent adapts easily to different bar layouts and service styles. Its clean, modern design and durable construction make it a practical and professional centrepiece for any commercial coffee setup.
Built for Professional Baristas
The Referent is engineered for traditional espresso preparation, giving baristas full control over extraction and workflow. With a large-capacity boiler and commercial-grade components, it ensures stable brewing temperatures and powerful steam performance for milk-based drinks during peak hours.
Whether you're running a speciality café or a high-output restaurant environment, the Referent is built to perform consistently under pressure.
Design & Configuration Options
- 2 Group or 3 Group versions
- Standard or Tall models (ideal for takeaway cups)
- Available in Black, Green, Terracotta, and White
- Durable stainless steel body construction
- Ergonomic control panel layout
The Tall version provides additional clearance for larger takeaway cups without compromising the machine’s footprint.
Energy-Efficient Option Available
The Referent Eco version is available as an optional variant.
This version maintains the same commercial performance and appearance but includes internal energy-optimised components designed to reduce overall power consumption and operating costs.
Ideal for businesses focused on:
- Lower electricity usage
- Long-term cost efficiency
- Sustainable operations
Performance, steam power, and extraction quality remain identical — the Eco version simply improves energy management.
Flexible Purchase Options
Available to buy outright or through tailored commercial finance solutions. Our team can help you select the right configuration for your business needs.
Lease quotes displayed for illustrative purposes only. Lease quotes are based on weekly calculations over a 5-year lease agreement (other periods are available on request). At the end of your finance agreement a transfer of ownership fee applies (approx. £200 + VAT). Lease quotes vary depending on your circumstances. Finance agreements are arranged with a third-party finance company authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. 3-years trading history or home-owners guarantor is usually required.
Specified, supplied and installed by our own team in Surrey. Every machine is sold alongside the roasted-to-order coffee that runs through it.

Frequently asked questions
Can we buy this machine online?
Machines priced under £5,000 can be bought straight through checkout. Above that we quote, because the specification, siting and installation need agreeing before the machine is ordered.
Do you install the machine?
Yes. Installation and commissioning can be added to your order on espresso and bean to cup machines. We position the machine, connect it to the water and power already at the installation point, commission it, dial it in on your coffee and walk your team through daily cleaning. We do not carry out plumbing or electrical work.
What needs to be ready before installation?
A suitable water supply and power at the machine's final position, plus clear access on the day. If either needs new work, your own plumber or electrician handles that beforehand.
Can you train our staff?
Yes. Barista training can be added to your order on espresso machines, run on site on your own machine and your own coffee, covering extraction and dialling in, milk technique, workflow and daily cleaning.
Can we lease rather than buy?
Yes. Lease pricing is shown on machines where it applies, and the agreement itself is arranged by our corporate team.
Who services the machine afterwards?
Servicing and maintenance agreements are handled by our corporate team, who look after machine estates across multi-site accounts.
